Peter Filler is a resident of Houston, Texas who lives in Congressional District 2. Peter Filler was raised in New York State and earned a Bachelors of Science Degree in Resource Management from the College of Environmental Science and Forestry in Syracuse, New York. Peter Filler worked for nearly 20 years in the Urban Forestry industry. Including 11 years with Scotts Lawn Service as a Lawn and Tree Specialist in Jacksonville, Florida. Peter Filler is a certified middle school teacher in Texas. Peter Filler is currently teaching Middle School English at a public school in Houston, Texas. Peter Filler is happily married to his wife Elizabeth Filler. Elizabeth Filler is a certified bilingual elementary school teacher in Texas. Elizabeth Filler is currently teaching elementary school bilingual English at a public school in Houston, Texas.  Peter and Elizabeth Filler have been happily married for over 10 years, and enjoy traveling the world together.

Peter Filler is a Democratic Candidate For US House Texas District 2, because he believes that Washington, D.C. needs his Help. Peter Filler decided to challenge Republican incumbent Dan Crenshaw on Tuesday November 5, 2024 in the general election, because our district deserves a better representative. Peter Filler is working diligently every day, and is focused and determined to win! Peter Filler believes he will be an outstanding Honorable Representative!

Peter Filler will work in The United States House in Washington D.C. representing his constituents best interests at home. Peter Filler will work to bring appropriations back to his home district to serve the people in his community, especially the ones who need the most help. Peter Filler will work on the Foreign Affairs,  Education, and Energy committees effectively introducing and passing bills that improve our immigration policies, fully fund and provide guidance to our public schools, and meet our energy needs with reliable renewable energy. Peter Filler will be a voice of reason while voting on important House Bills in Congress, and work with all of his colleagues in a professional bi-partisan fashion.
